National Flute Association Commission
I am incredibly honored to be the commissioned composer for the National Flute Association 2026 Piccolo Artist Competition.
"Each year the NFA commissions new works for its High School Soloist and Young Artist Competitions, and every two years, for the Piccolo Artist Competition. It gives me great delight to introduce you to the composers of this year’s new works: Jean Ahn, (High School Soloist), Shawn Okpebholo (Young Artist) and Lisa Bost-Sandberg (Piccolo Artist). All three are exceptional composers with distinctive artistic voices, and I’m very excited by their new contributions to our repertoire..."
