NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. This event will be led by Denise Lajimodiere, regional writer, artist, educator, and member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, with a concert of four world premieres inspired by her poetry. Performers include Lajimodiere (speaker), Lisa Bost-Sandberg (alto flute), Laura Kellogg (flute), and Russ Peterson (bassoon and saxophone). Composers include Steve Makela, Doug Harbin, Russ Peterson, and Kristi Fullerton.
