The Glass Ceilings Project

I’m thrilled to be writing a piece as part of a commission and performance project titled “Glass Ceilings” and initiated by Claudia Anderson. Claudia is writing a piece and has also commissioned a group of composers including Eve Beglarian, Allison Loggins-Hull, Ali Ryerson, and myself in order to create a program of works that represent some aspect of the barriers that many face in our society. We have enjoyed meeting occasionally via Zoom to connect and discuss the project, and our conversations have grown deeper in light of the many developments of recent months.
