In a couple of weeks I will be performing a recital in my hometown of Lewistown, Montana.  It has been six years since I last played a recital there, so I am very much looking forward to "going home again" with a program of unaccompanied flute music.  The program will be diverse - Bach, Berio, Bost, and more - and will include performances on flute, piccolo, alto flute, and bass flute.  For all friends, family, and music lovers in the area - the recital is free of charge, open to the public, and the specifics can be found on my schedule page.  Take care --

I am home from a wonderful weekend in Providence, Rhode Island, where I performed Peter McCulloch's 5 Scènes Explosives for flutes and electronics as part of the PIXILERATIONS [v.3] digital arts showcase.  It was a fantastic concert that also including works by Lyn Goehringer, Robert Griffin Byron, Matthew Warne and Jamie Jewett, Arvid Tomayko-Peters, GRAY CODE (Butch Rovan, Kevin Patton, and Fred Kennedy), and Chapman Welch.  PIXILERATIONS [v.3] helped celebrate the opening of the FirstWorksProv Festival, which runs from September 29th through November 4th.  Many thanks go out to Butch Rovan (coordinator) and the rest of the committee - not to mention the overflowing and enthusiastic audience!  Best --

And welcome to our blizzard of the season in New York!  After the first week of classes for the semester I was glad to be able to stay home on a snow day.  I have recently added my performance guide for Robert Dick's Paint Your Mammouth to my Flute Studio page; please check it out!  It originated as a final project for a class last semester and as several friends have been asking to see it, I decided to make it available on this webpage.   Cheers --

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season!  The fall semester at NYU is officially complete.  I think I can say it was a highly successful first semester of coordinating the Chamber Music Series, and it was a typically busy but really wonderful wrap-up of classes and concerts these past few weeks.  I am glad to have a bit of time off to work on some of my own projects and to spend time with family.  Best to all --
