“Picturing Music” with Mark Applebaum

On February 3rd I had the great honor of performing Mark Applebaum’s Entre Funérailles IV for solo flute as part of an artist talk about that he presented at Plains Art Museum in Fargo. He spoke about musical determinacy and indeterminacy, and the program opened an exhibition that includes The Metaphysics of Notation and other of Applebaum’s scores.
